We woke up at 5 in the morning exhausted. We slowly put the stuff in the car and drove to the airport. On the way there I almost fell asleep, but I stayed awake and we boarded the plane. We boarded the second flight in Atlanta – that one was 4 hours long. UGH. I don’t like flying very much so I was glad when we landed. We got our luggage and rented a car. We decided to go to the Denver Zoo. We got there and it was HUGE. They had a lot of animals that were active and moving around, especially the cheetahs. They made me think about my friend Lucien!

They got up and moved around, it was so cool! After seeing tons of amazing animals I was happy but tired. So we headed to the hotel and met my dad there. The hotel looked out over the Mile High Stadium, home of the Denver Bronos football team. The hotel was also tall and round.

Before going to bed we headed down to check out the pool. We had a lot of fun, but if we stepped out to jump in, IT WAS FREEZING!

After I had gotten REALLY cold, we called it for the night and passed out in our beds.
