PAPA will be enjoying these beautiful Fall Pisgah views all day Saturday and Sunday.
With spectacular views of the Pisgah National Forest, Sam Knob is an imposing mountain peak located at the edge of the Shining Rock Wilderness.
And for those up for a more adventurous outing, you are welcome to join us for a one-night campout. Bring a tent and gear. If gear is needed, please reach out to Mike or Scott (contact info below) who have extra camping gear for anyone who needs it. Artists are open to choose either day or the full weekend adventure. Come capture the Fall colors, long-distance Mountain View’s, a sunrise and/or sunset, enjoy a community campfire dinner, storytelling and laughter.
PAPA members will there by 10:00am both mornings but will also be painting all day. So come on out at whatever time works best for you or stay for both days.
The PAPA banner will be on full display at the Sam Knob Trailhead.
Please make sure to sign in on the PAPA event sheet when you arrive.
