“I have painted several paintings in my studio and painted in plein air on the Laurel Creek Trail located in the Laurel Bloomery community of Johnson County, TN. I have painted there with a friend and even took my grandchildren to paint there. I had the honor of painting a mural of the Lopsided 3 train that ran through there for the Musical Heritage Mural Mile.

It is a beautiful and most special place that was once home to the Peavine Railroad. It is part of the US Forest Service and maintained by the Johnson County Trails Association. You can learn more at jctrails.org.”

I work primarily in oils en plein air and in studio with a focus on my East Tennessee home, the beautiful mountains, people and heritage. My style is realism with a touch of painterly impressionism. My theme is “Paintings From the Heart.” I am a member of Oil Painters of America, American Impressionist Society, American Women Artists, Preserving a Picturesque America, National Oil and Acrylic Painter’s Society, and have my art in the homes and businesses of many. My acrylic work can be seen in murals on the Musical Heritage Mural Mile and the Artists and Old Crows Scavenger Hunt in Johnson County, TN.
