John Gilbert is a plein-aire watercolorist who has participated in juried art shows in FL, GA, and NC, receiving honor awards and commissions. He is an active member of the Watercolor Society of North Carolina, Florida Watercolor Society, and plein-aire groups in FL and NC. John has a BA in Fine Art from FSU. He continues to improve his painting skills through painting with friends, in workshops, and in demos.
